Welcome! We are the church of St. John the Baptist, the Parish Church of Needham Market with Badley.

We have several aims in creating this website about St John’s.

¤ To create more awareness in our local community about who we are, what we do, and what we want to bring to support and grow our sense of community.

¤ For those people who want to know more about our history and architecture as we are known and visited by many who see us as one of the most unusual churches in England.

¤ To increase our knowledge of what the community needs and wants from us.

¤ To help us to determine the best use for the Cottage as a community and joined resource for St. John’s and Christchurch.

¤ And most importantly we want to welcome more and more people and their children into our church family and share the love and knowledge of Christ with them.

Prayer Needs
if you would like us to pray for anyone you know, or for yourself, you can leave a note on our prayer board inside the porch. These are included in our weekly prayers and during the Sunday morning Eucharist.

News
Closure of the Church for Building Works - Starting in January 2012 the church building will be closed for building work to renew the heating system. Sunday services continue as normal just round the corner in the Ark.
