Fundraising Events
¤ Christian Aid Week - 9th to 15th May 2010
Needham Market generously donated in excess of £4300 to Christian Aid in 2009. Thank you to everyone for their donation and the hard work of all the volunteers for helping to beat the 2009 total, and in such difficult times. Christian Aid supports 700 organisations working in over 50 developing countries to help meet peoples most basic of needs. We always need collectors, if you are able to help this year please contact Roland Owen (720950). ¤ Produce Stalls - the next stall is in Saturday 10th April 2010
Outside the church, the first Saturday of each month between April and October (due to Easter we are holding the first stall on 10th April) we have a stall which sells local produce, plants, bric a brac, books, toys, and many cakes, scones, jams etc. Please do help support the monthly stalls which are very popular and there is always more demand than the quantity of cakes! Last year these stalls alone raised more than £1000 for church funds.
¤ Lent Soup Lunch
Each Saturdays during Lent we offer a soup lunch in the Ark from noon to 2pm. Home made soup and a bread and hot drinks for £3. All the money raised goes to our link Diocese in Kagera. Please do come along and join us, starting in February.
¤ Flower Festival - 25th to 27th June 2010
A flower festival will be held during June with displays in the church and a Folk concert featuring local musicians on the Saturday night, more details to follow.
